2009 Production: Ruddigore

Sunday, March 15, 2pmThe Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company, Inc. and the University of Chicago Department of Music will present Gilbert & Sullivan's Ruddigore at the University of Chicago's Mandel Hall, 1131 E. 57th Street, Chicago. Proceeds will benefit the Department of Music's performance program.
Auditions will take place on Saturday and Sunday, January 10 and 11, 2009, from 2-5pm, at Goodspeed Hall, Univ. of Chicago, 1010 E 59th St., Chicago. There are 7 principal parts with modest stipends and a large mixed chorus. Auditionees are asked to prepare a musical number suitable for their voice part. Auditions will include one or more musical numbers from Ruddigore along with dialogue reading.
